Tiger Woods' visit to Canada featured in TSN special

Broadcast of charity fundraiser highlights set for Sunday, June 28

TORONTO (June 23, 2009)--Tiger Woods and friends are coming to Nova Scotia for the Nike Golf Invitational charity fundraiser which wil be broadcast during a one-hour TSN special on Sunday, June 28 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Woods is set to visit Fox Harb'r Golf Resort and Spa in Wallace, Nova Scotia this Friday for the private fundraising event that will raise monies for the Tiger Woods Foundation and Canadian junior golf.

Woods will play a nine-hole exhibition on Friday morning at the acclaimed Fox Harb'r course on the shores of the Northumberland Strait with his coach Hank Haney and friend Charles Barkley and then play an 18-hole event with invited guests of Nike Golf Canada.

The event will be captured by TSN for a special one-hour special broadcast on Sunday, June 28 at 9 p.m. EDT, which will include an exclusive interview with Woods by TSN's Rod Black.
