DIEPPE, New Brunswick (July 7, 2009)—Golf
fans in Atlantic Canada have a unique opportunity to watch and
interact with Nike Golf athletes Stephen Ames and Paul Casey as they
go head-to-head in the Fox Creek Challenge for charity on Tuesday,
July 28.
Fans can walk along the fairways of
acclaimed Fox Creek Golf Club with Ames and Casey as they compete in
an 18-hole stroke play event. Tickets go on sale for $100 each on
July 8 for the event. Ticket sales are limited to 1,300 to maintain

Ames Foundation and provide funds locally for junior golf.
The Fox Creek Challenge begins on
Monday, July 27 with a pro-am at the Graham Cooke-designed course.
On Tuesday, Ames and Casey will tee off at 10:30 a.m.
“I am really looking forward to
visiting New Brunswick for the Fox Creek Challenge to compete
against Stephen in his home country, but we'll also have a lot fun
with each other and the fans as we raise money for Stephen's
foundation and local junior golf,” said Casey, ranked third in the
Official World Golf Rankings and winner earlier this year of the
Shell Houston Open.
“The Fox Creek Challenge promises to
be a great event for Paul and me, the fans and for my foundation and
junior golf in New Brunswick,” said Ames, who lives in Calgary and
has won three PGA Tour events. “I have heard many wonderful things
about Fox Creek, and I always enjoy the people and beauty of
Atlantic Canada.”
Denis LeBlanc, General Manager and
co-owner of Fox Creek, said: “It's always been our family's
objective to have an event of this stature at Fox Creek so it's
gratifying to see it come to fruition after working with Nike Golf
Canada, especially with top-name professionals like Stephen Ames and
Paul Casey.”
“We are very pleased to work with the
LeBlanc family on this new event which will showcase outstanding Fox
Creek Golf Club and provide golf fans with an opportunity to see
Stephen Ames and Paul Casey—two great ambassadors of the
