Nike Golf athletes use Livestrong bags in RBC Canadian Open

As Lance Armstrong rides to raise awareness for LIVESTRONG at the Tour de France, three Nike Golf athletes will be using LIVESTRONG bags at the RBC Canadian Open to show their support.

Caddies for Paul Casey, Trevor Immelman and Carl Pettersson will carry the bags during the PGA Tour event this week at St. George's in Toronto.

As part of a line of LIVESTRONG footwear, apparel and accessories, a LIVESTRONG carry golf bag will be available at Forzani Group stores across Canada such as Sport Chek, Nevada Bob's on March 1, 2011.   "Lance's return to cycling drew the eyes of the world to the fight against cancer and Nike's support is allowing us to spread the message of hope and perseverance to new markets all over the world," said Doug Ulman, president and CEO of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.    Since 2004 Nike has helped raise more than US$80 million for LIVESTRONG in the help fight cancer. It started with the yellow LIVESTRONG wristbands that debuted in 2004, with more than 70 million wristbands distributed to date, and continues with the LIVESTRONG collection of footwear and apparel.   Golf fans can wear yellow to show their support too by checking out www.nike.com/livestrong
